{Happy Customers} : Donovan

I've said before a hundred times that I could honestly stay busy just between my own kids, my friends' kids, my sister's kids, and my sister's friends' kids. I'm serious. I think I could have a project all the time. So here we go with one of my sister's friends' kids...cute little D. I wish I had a better pic of the cute bib from *golden* and the tee from Persnickety Me...I promise they were both adorable!

Bigger pics along with all our PDP cuties over at {happy customers}! Thanks, Gina!

{Happy Customers} : Grayson

I am once again getting a little backed up on my {happy customers} entries...thanks to all of you who have sent something and I promise I am going to catch up!

When Colleen sent me pics from Grayson's party I was so impressed...she made life-sized replicas of the tent on Grayson's shirt from Persnickety Me and the elephant that I use on all the circus party goods. SO SO adorable!

Hop on over to {happy customers} to see the pics in greater detail and read about Colleen's PDP experience as well as checking out all our previous little cuties!

Have a great weekend!

{Happy Customers} : JJ

After seeing a post for Beckett's monkey party somewhere in blogland, Amy contacted me to do a similar party for her son JJ. It was so fun to remake some of those items...I had so much fun doing Beck's party that I gladly did it again!

I love making those first year picture banners...so fun to see them grow! Head on over to {happy customers} to read more from Amy on the party and to check out all the PDP cuties there!

{Happy Customers} : Collin

I got an email from a client today telling me that she will cry soon if I don't put the pics she sent me of her son's party up here. Talk about a guilt trip! Truth be told she is one of probably about 10-15 people waiting for the same thing. I am having a hard time keeping up with life right now and trying to prioritize a bit. Needless to say, my blog has suffered.

That being said, I don't need Kristen crying. So here you go, Kristen! Sorry they took so long but I'm glad you are still a {happy customer}!!

More details here!

I promise I will try to be better next week. Thanks to all my loyal supporters during this busy transition time. You are the best!

{Happy Customers} : Kylie

Well...it is possible that I am biased since Rach and I have worked so closely and become such good friends over the last year...or maybe its that I actually got to meet this little "nutball" as Rachel so affectionately calls her...but in any case I love these pics from 3 year old Kylie's popsicle party. She is a totally hilarious and smart little girl. I just wished she lived in MN so her and Avery could play together more often!

Basically when Rachel and I make something for each other's kids' parties, we give the other one the basic concept of the party and let the other run with it. Rachel sent me a pic of some popsicles she liked and the fabric she was using for the party and said "make me something."

In the end, she did request a few things, but I just basically made her whatever I wanted...so I sent her a banner, cupcake toppers, and the tutu I have been promising Kylie since I visited them in February. After seeing the kids lunch boxes from Beckett's party (and knowing that I had 90 left over!) Rach asked if I could whip some up for her as well. Rachel is of course responsible for Kylie's shirt and bloomers...

For a closer look or to read Rachel's gushfest about me =) (love you Rach!) head on over to {happy customers}...lots of other cuties there too!

{Happy Customers} : Darrian Round Two

I'm sure you all remember Darrian's circus party from last year. It was the first time I was featured on HWTM and inspired my entire Circus Collection after the demand for that banner went crazy!

Michelle started emailing me about Darrian's second birthday in January and his party was last weekend! We had plenty of time to go over every detail. Since the theme was kind of midevil prince and princess with a cute dragon as the focus, I designed a banner and crowns for all the prince and princesses at the party.

Head on over to {happy customers} to check out the pictures in greater detail and read Michelle's kind words. Check out all the PDP cuties while you're there!

{Happy Customers} : Jozlyn (Round 2!)

I can't believe its been a year since this {happy customer}'s last birthday. That means my baby will be two in no time. You may remember Jozlyn from previous posts...I've already written about her first bday, then a happy customers entry for that, and her second birthday gear that we got ready back in May. I've also professed how much I have come to <3 href="http://www.persnicketyme.etsy.com/">Persnickety Me. It turned out so stinkin' cute, Abby!

Head on over to {happy customers} to see the pics in better detail and read Heidi's kind words.

On a personal note...this is going to be my last post for a few days. I was going to try to do it all, but life is a tad overwhelming right now. I am trying to get my classroom in order and mentally prepare myself to leave my kiddos again, not to mention getting Beckett's bday party together for next weekend and finish orders that need to be done before I go back. I will hopefully get a few posts ready for next week. Thanks in advance for being so patient and supportive over this next crazy month! I will be back!

{Happy Customers} : Baby Miller

I guess Baby Miller isn't really the happy customer here, but since the party was in his honor, we're going to go with that! Krystle threw her friend a baby shower totally decked out in baby blue and zebra for the baby boy that would soon make his arrival!. I love that twist...I've definitely seen pink and zebra, but I love love love the blue!

Click here to get a closer look and hear what Krystle had to say about her PDP experience. Lots of other cute parties to check out over on {happy customers} as well!

{Happy Customers} : Julia, Erik, & Emma

You may remember these projects I did a while back for my great friend Tammy's kiddos...three of her four kids celebrate their birthdays within about 6 weeks of each other.

We combined them all into one entry...for a closer look and for all to see all our cuties...head on over to {happy customers}. Can't wait until 'Lil Frank's bday, Tam! =)

{Happy Customers} : Caiden

This was such a fun circus set to work on because it was for the nephew of Adam...a photographer I got to know through my friend Darcie. He is so fun and was a huge help during our Made to Match shoot.

Little Caiden has the cutest grin ever! I mean, really, you should check out the pics that Adam took of him for his one year session and the pics he took at the party.

Have a happy and safe holiday weekend!

{Happy Customers} : Jacob

Check out this little cutie! I made party decor for Jacob last winter for his snowman 1st birthday party. Funny thing is, the whole time I made it I DID have enough snow to make a snowman...but little Jacob lives in Texas and it was 70 degrees on the day of his party!

You know I always love coordinating with Rachel over at *golden*...this was no exception! I drew snowflakes like the ones she used for Jacob's bib and used them on everything from his door sign to his chandelier picture snowflakes.

{Happy Customers} : Jack

So I am pretty sure this lady really IS my happiest customer...it just so happens that she is also my sister. My nephew Jack is so darn cute that the pics from his party had to go up on {happy customers}.

No please let me say that in her testimonial, my sister is WAAAAAAY too hard on herself and WAAAAAAAAAY too nice about me. She kind of has that problem. She really is creative herself, she'd just rather die than use a scissors, so leaves this party stuff up to me, right Ray?

Photobucket

Hop on over to {happy customers} and check it out my spunky, adorable, little ball loving nephew!

{Happy Customers} : Zoe

Yesterday I kind of wrote my blog post as though I was writing it to all of you who have been with me for a long time. I guess I should have welcomed all the new people who might be reading...I never really thought of that, but after seeing that 500 people read my blog post yesterday, we definitely have some new PD&P fans. I hope most of you are here to stay!

So if you ARE new here...a few things... (if you're NOT new and don't want to read this, skip down to the orange text!)

1) I try to blog every day M-F. Let me emphasize TRY. I have three kids ages 5, 3, and 1, so that isn't always in the cards.

2) This blog is mostly to give people ideas for parties and keep you up to speed with projects I have been working on. You will see a lot of custom projects on my blog, though I am not technically "doing" custom work right now. Questions?? Check out "About PD&P" from the top menu.

3) If you have questions PLEASE email me! I may not always have the answer, and there are certain secrets about my products I don't give away, but for the most part I love to help people create fun parties for their kids (or baby showers, adult parties, weddings, etc!).

4) Feel free to browse a bit! I have spent hours putting party stuff (and before February maybe a little family stuff too. :) on this blog so I am pretty sure you could spend hours looking, too! I recently had a blog make-over and there are lots of fun and hopefully helpful things as well, such as "Plan the Perfect Party" & "{happy customers}"...plus lots about my family & me, why we are where we are today, and my current schedule.

Okay...so onto today's post then! Beth is a customer who has been with me since the beginning, and I now call her a friend, so she fits into the custom category. Yep, she's the one who a few weeks ago I said pretty much keeps me in business as well as handling some PR for me. She's pretty much the bomb.

This is the first project her and I worked on together for her daughter Zoe's birthday...

{Happy Customers} : The Triplets

Today will be my last post for the week...off to a mini vacay for Easter at my parents' house.

You will go nuts over how put together these three little {happy customers} are! These are the triplets I talked about a while back. When they were born they were each assigned a color to help tell them apart. (Jacob...blue, Benjamin...yellow, and Zachary...green--and please keep them in that order, right Jamie?!)

Photobucket

Jamie decided to carry the colors right through their party...and I mean down to their shoes and socks. Check out their entry on {happy customers} to see these pics bigger plus 9 more pics!

Have a happy Easter. I'll be back Monday!

{Happy Customers} : Jack and Carter

Day two this week brings some more PD&P cuties. This is the client who found me through Etsy but ended up being best college friends with a neighbor friend of mine! I LOVED how this twist on the normal circus theme and colors turned out. Mom Christy is a floral designer with great taste and a sharp eye, so I needed to deliver on this one! We had to make it fun enough for Carter, turning one, but sophisticated enough for Jack, turning 4.

Photobucket

See the original post for design inspiration and {happy customers} for a closer look and to read Christy's kind words about PD&P!

{Happy Customers} : Carson

It is going to be a {happy customers} week over here! I have a bunch to do to get ready to leave on Wednesday for a long weekend at my parents house for Easter, including making all the product for my Made To Match photo shoot on Thursday. So I got all my posts for the week (will be a short week, just Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and decided to make them all {happy customers}. I have a ton of them and they're so darn cute. This week I have 3 of my favorite projects I've ever worked on.

I love this project for two reasons...1)it was the biggest order I had done to date and 2) I made it during the Olympics, which I loved watching! Carson's Mom Amanda really knows how to throw a shindig...and you should SEE her parent's backyard where she threw the party. It is to die for. Lots of space, a swimming pool, etc. A couple of her siblings got married there.

The theme was "what little boys are made of..snips & snails & puppy dog tails" and featured a little boy silhouette. This party was complete with 2 banners, centerpieces, favors, cupcake toppers, hats: you name it, Amanda thought of it! If you want to see closer details of the actual items, check out my previous blog post (has pics of that fab backyard I was talking about, too!)

Photobucket

Head on over and check it out!

{Happy Customers} : Darrian

I figured that this {happy customers} entry that I've had forever would be appropriate today since it was the inspiration for making THE CIRCUS COLLECTION that made its debut yesterday!

Photobucket

I worked with Michelle, Darrian's mom, last fall to come up with some hats, a crown, and a banner to go with his circus theme. After the party, Michelle submitted her pictures to Hostess With The Mostess and the party was featured there. I started getting requests for the theme a few times a week, so I decided it should just be put into a collection so it was available all the time.

Thank you, Michelle, for all the business you've sent my way and for your kind words! {read them here}
