It's all about the cake...

My sister Kasey's birthday is Christmas Day. Ever since she was old enough to stay up late we have had a birthday party for her at midnight on Christmas Eve so it doesn't get lost in all the celebrations. No matter where any of us are for Christmas Eve we have to make it home by midnight to sing, eat cake, and open presents. We even did it in my hospital room the year Avery was born!

This year Kasey turned 18, which is hard to believe. We decided way last summer what she wanted her birthday banner to look like...zebra and hot pink. My sister Rach and I decided she needed a cake, too. Rach found one online that matched perfectly and sent it to a local bakery to see if they could make it. It was sooooooooooo cute that I changed the font on her banner to match the 18 they put on the top of the cake. She of course changed into a pair of PJs at 11:59 that matched her decor. That's my girl!

How cute! You have a sister named Rach? Plus your long lost sister in LA named Rach, that is funny!

That is a CUTE cake!

Yes, a sis named Rach and a new BF named Rach...makes my husband very confused almost constantly because they are probably the two people I talk to and about the most!

Oh, and Sara... did I tell you I am going to visit CA Rach in 8 days?! Hallelujah!

I know this is an old post, but I was looking at your girl party themes and I wanted to say that I loved it AND my hubby has a Christmas birthday. We always try to do something separate also so that his celebration isn't forgotten about also! Those Christmas babies!
