{Happy Customers} : Harper

Our first {happy customer} for this week!

Photobucket

These pics of little Harper make me smile every time I look at them. I loved her little birdie theme! I also got to work with *golden* on this one, which is always fun. Head on over to {happy customers} to see it in better detail!

The CIRCUS COLLECTION launches tomorrow. {insert major squeal from me here}

Egg Hunting

On Saturday we headed over to our good friends' house who were holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt. They have the most beautiful and perfect yard for this sort of thing. There were quite a few kids, but they hid 780 eggs! That is some serious egg hunting.

Judy had enlisted me a couple months ago to make some festive decor for the event to help spruce up the brown grass (that's MN for you, but last year it was snow...so we'll take the brown grass!) and some table signs for the snack table and the egg return.

All the kids had a great time, particularly Beckett this year. He didn't go for the nice eggs conveniently laid out for the little kids. He went straight for the bushes and has several scratches on his face to prove it. It was quite funny to watch, actually.

Thanks, Attersons! We had a great time!

Maybe two a week?

I was planning on updating the {happy customers} page only once a week. And eventually, that will probably be true. But this week I started counting how many I have and looking through the pictures and I decided I should get some more on there sooner than later! So here is Jozlyn on her first birthday...

More of April Showers...

So a few weeks back I posted these invitations that I made for my friend Beth. I finished her banner and cupcake toppers and wanted to share those, too. I am pretty sure this is one of my favorite banners I've ever made. I love the colors together!

Photobucket

Beth is another one of my friends who is trying to single handedly keep me in business...I already have another baby shower invitation designed and almost ready to print for a shower she's throwing. She is also doing some PR for me, but says I have to take her to Martha when I make it...don't hold your breath (that I'll ever make it there), Beth. :)

PD&P {happy customers}

I had an idea.

I had an idea last AUGUST. I thought since I always show what my products look like sitting in my boring old basement, it would be fun to see them in action at a party. So I created a {happy customers} page. You might have even poked around and saw the ONE POST I ever put on there. I have about 30 that have been waiting to go on since. With as crazy as things have been, it just got shoved to the back burner. But with my new blog, I am turning a new leaf. This WILL be a priority. They are just too darn cute not to.

Here is little Sophia, who has been so lonely on {happy customers} for so long...

and here is a sneak peak at little Gracie, who was my first customer ever!

You can always click on the link in the menu on the top of the page to see all our little cuties and what their parents had to say about their PD&P experience...I will be adding a new one each week!

Need a little Hair Candy??

As you know, I have enlisted a few "helpers" to make a more complete party by offering some cute outfits for your kiddos to wear that match my party goods. This weekend I found a new friend...and let me tell you...did she ever deliver!

Lindsay over at Hair Candy Bows took the ribbon that I showed her that would match my collections and ran with them. I was thinking she'd make ONE kind of bow to match each collection. No, people, she made EVERYTHING that is available in her store in the PD&P colors!

Photobucket

And if your daughter's party has already passed and you're not yet ready to plan another, just like all the other sellers offering goods in this collection, there are plenty of other fun and funky things in her store for everyday use!

Likey??

I still have a bunch of sorting and labeling to do this weekend, but what do you think? I am in love...with Shannon Dow @ EightCrazy. You are my hero.

It's a circus 'round here...

Literally. Sorry for my lack of posts, but between filling the "pre-orders" I have for my new CIRCUS COLLECTION, doing my regular orders, and getting the product for the pictures so that I can finally list the new line, it literally feels like a three ring circus here this week! The weather has been extremely nice so I have been outside with my kiddos after about 5 months of not leaving the house. I am also very close to my new blog to launch so I am making sure things are in order there. I promise to be back next week with some good stuff. It may be pics of me dressed as a clown in the mental institution (yes, this pic could very well be me by Monday), but I promise it will be good stuff.

Flower Power!

This party seems SO appropriate to share today. We here in good ole MN are experiencing somewhat of a heatwave. It was almost 70 degrees here today...last Wednesday we were still below zero! Spring AND flowers, my friends are on their way.

Here are a few more pics of the decor I made for 4 year old Grace...see other posts about Grace here and here.

This is DEFINITELY one of my new favs. So fun to work on and perfectly my style and favorite colors.

a Moo, a Baa, an Oink, and a Cock-a-doodle-doo!

I have been planning on having Beckett's next birthday party at the farm with a farm animals theme since pretty much his last party. So when my friend Patti asked if I could do farm animals for her son Garrett (one of Tate's very best friends) for his 5th birthday I thought it would be a great motivation to get some images drawn and a font picked out so I was ahead of the game come September!

Garrett's dad does a little farming with his grandpa...and Garrett is pretty sure that it is the coolest job on Earth. So I was excited to make something and kept checking in with Garrett on our rides home from preschool to make sure I was getting the animals and look that he wanted...5 year olds KNOW what they want!

**The Birthday Boy (They went swimming, too...hence the no shirt! :) **
**The Door Sign****Baggie Toppers for Favors****The Cupcake Toppers**
I am so excited that Garrett loved his party and even more excited that I am half done designing Beckett's!!

3 X the fun!

In early January I started talking to a mom of triplets about their birthday party, which will be this weekend. She was telling me how her boys had each been assigned a color at birth to help identify them. My boys collection matched pretty well with the colors, but it needed a little yellow. I had the matching yellow paper to my line and so I made her order...and let me tell you that this is going to be quite the celebration!

Jamie wanted me to put all three boys names on the banner. She said I could do it how I wanted but her only request was that I put the names in birth order: Jacob (aka BLUE), Benjamin (aka YELLOW), and Zachary (aka GREEN). So here is how a banner for triplets (and triplets with pretty long names, no less!) looks:
I am going to save the rest of the decor for later...most of it is similar to the regular PDCfB. Their crowns turned out pretty cute with their personal color coding, but she had *golden* make bibs to match them, so I am going to hold out for a pic from the party to show them to you so you can get the whole picture!

Whoooose bag is this?

Last Friday I showed you the banner I made for my friend Tammy's lil' Frank. After I made that for her, she asked if I could make a tag for her diaper bag with a matching owl on it. I said I was sure I could, so she asked me to make them for all the Holm kids! Good thing she is a patient, because I've been so busy that she waited over a month for them. Thanks Tam!

Holm Tags

They are a great size for a backpack, diaper bag, or suit case. I have to figure out which graphics to put in so I can make them for my own kids!

Lil' Frank

My friend Tammy asked me to make a mini banner to hang in her son's bedroom after he was born. They knew that baby #4 was going to make the Holm household 1/2 boys and 1/2 girls, but weren't disclosing the name. She told me how many letters in each of his names, first and middle, and I got it all ready so when he was born I could whip it together. She wanted an owl on it as well, and for it to be the colors of his room.

As soon as I read on Facebook that Frank Charles Holm had arrived, I finished up the banner and sent it her way. Named after Tammy's grandpa, they now call him lil' Frank.Tam, I hope when you were house hunting that your number one requirement is that his room had a good wall to hang it on! Just kidding.

Ava & Annabelle

I sent these out right before I left for LA and I completely forgot to blog about them. They were for my sister's friend Heidi for her two little girls. Heidi wanted me to completely design them myself, but gave me a few ideas about each little girl. She plans to use them from year to year on the girls birthdays.

First is Ava, who turned two right around Valentine's Day. Heidi said that it would be fun to be Valentine-ish colors, but without being Valentine themed. She said that cute little Ava loved puppies and balloons. Then this month baby Annabelle is turning one. All Heidi said is that she wanted bright fun colors. Annabelle's birthday will be a real celebration because she arrived very early and the first few months were rough. You would never know looking at her now!
Happy Birthday, Ava and Annabelle!

PD & P spotted on Etsy's front page!

I just wish it had been spotted by me! Thanks Sally, for telling me it was up...too bad I didn't see it. In fact, I didn't even know what had been up or if had even been on the main showcase...but when I checked my "Who hearts this shop" I had 30 new hearts today and figured something was up! After a little investigation (thanks, Rachel *golden*!) we were able to locate this:
This is the first time I was there (that I know of!), but hopefully not the last!

April Showers

Here are some more of the 135 invitations I made last week! These were for my friend Beth who is throwing a baby shower in April. The shower will be completely themed around umbrellas and an "April Showers" theme.
I really like the outcome and since I have had a few requests for custom invitations for my current collections that don't include a picture I think they will be available soon looking similar to this.

Thanks to everyone who has been patient with me these past few weeks if my emails haven't been as prompt as normal andI have not had as many blog entries. I have over $1200 on order with customers on Etsy, I am trying to get the circus line ready for pictures and my new blog all lined up, too. Plus I'm trying not to cheat too much on the "curfew" that Eric and I have agreed on...ha! I promise I will get back to you all if you are waiting on an email from me. You're the best!
